DESJARDINS, Evelyn Passed away peacefully on January 15, 2005. Beloved daughter of the late Jerry and Belva Desjardins. Sadly missed by her sister Claire Couvillion and husband Thomas of Windsor. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers Bernadette Lesperance, Blaise Desjardins, Louis Desjardins, Lorette Renaud, and Rita Howell. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Evelyn served as a Corporal in The Royal Can-adian Air Forces and retired from Canadian Customs. Visitation will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830), on Monday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at the St. Anne Church, Tecumseh, from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Anne Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Evelyn Desjardins in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome. Published in the Windsor Star on 1/17/2005.
