SUMNER, Jean 58 years, passed away suddenly, with her loving family by her side, on Friday January 14, 2005, at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Loving wife of Rick Sumner and the late Dennis (Muff) Torresan (1993). Beloved mother of Jodi Shoemaker and husband Martin, Wiarton; Denise Malott and husband Brennan, Leamington; Chris-tine Wilhelm and husband Nick, Ingersoll; David Torresan and wife Anne, Winnipeg; Teena Brown and husband Kirk, London; Dennis Torresan and wife Denise, Leamington; Carolynn Harris and husband Donald, Kingsville. Dear grandmother of Amberly, Nicole and James Shoemaker; Aaron, Andrew, Ashley and Alicia Malott; Nicholas, Justin and Destiny Wilhelm; Matthew, Allyson, Adrianna, Amy, Donovan and Thomas Torresan; Jager and Alanna Brown; Lindsay, Valerie and Anthony Torresan; Tate and Torrie Harris. Always remembered by her sister and best friend Carole Sauve and husband Roger, niece Kathy Goundry, and father-in-law Jack Sumner. Jean will be dearly missed by her extended family and many friends. Predeceased by her mother and father Mary (1966) and Eric (1965) Sutherland, and granddaughter Brittany Torresan (1992). Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (326-2631), on Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Jean's life, will be held from the Funeral Home, on Tuesday January 18, 2005, at 11 a.m. Rev. Larry Forsyth officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
