McARTHUR, Mr. Hugh Franklin (Retired after 32 years service with Peterborough County Board of Education) - At P.R.H.C. Palliative Care on Sunday, January 23, 2005 in his 68th year, with his family at his side peacefully entered into rest after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband and best friend of Gloria Walling. Beloved father of Martin (Mary), Wayne (Michele) and Cheryl Desautel (Tyler). Cherished grandpa of Chelsea, Kyle, Amanda, Jeff, Cassidy, Greg, Ashlee and Zachary. Loving brother of Iona Coyle (Gord). Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Fleda and brother Roy. Hugh will be missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 600 Monaghan Rd S., Peterborough on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 from the NISBETT CHAPEL at 11 a.m. with Pastor Murray Lincoln officiating. Interment to follow at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. In memory of Hugh donations may be made to the PRHC Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society.
