SPENCLEY, James Wilfred "Jim" CET - Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday January 19, 2005 after a bravely fought battle with cancer, at age 57. Dearly loved husband of Ruth (nee Davis) for 32 years. Devoted father of Jeremy of Peterborough (fiancée Nicole) and Melanie of Ottawa. Jim is survived by his mother Hazel Spencley of Rubidge Retirement Residence, Peterborough, pre-deceased by his father Frank in 1996. He will be greatly missed by his brother Frank, sister-in-law Shirley and many other family and friends. Jim was an employee of G.E. Canada for 40 years, a member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church and an avid fisherman. Friends will be received at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, (356 Rubidge Street) on Friday, January 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at ST. BARNABAS ANGLICAN CHURCH, (1040 Hilliard Street) on Saturday, January 22nd at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Eugene Berlenbach officiating.
