FERRIS, Douglas William "Cap" 79 years, on Monday, January 24, 2005 at his home in Wheatley. Loving husband of the late Della (Harris) (1998). Beloved mother of Gloria and her husband Neil Tofflemire of Wheatley, Dan and his wife Diana of Kingsville, and Beverly and her husband Jim Dawe of Huron Park. Dear grandfather to Lynn and Edward Haeussler, Doug and Louanne Tofflemire, Michael Ferris, and great grandfather to Matthew, Ashley, and Ryan. Predeceased by a grandson, Kevin Dawe. Also survived by a brother John Ferris of Leamington. Visiting at the Hammond Funeral Home, 17 Little Street South, Wheatley (825-7741) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service from the funeral home on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jack Lovering officiating. Interment Erie Cemetery, Wheatley.
