Dene VEXLER

TENENBAUM, Dene 84, passed away peacefully January 23, 2005. Survived by Earl, her loving husband of 60 years and their son Jerry and his wife Bev of Scarborough. Predeceased by her brothers Harry, Al and Sam Vexler and her sisters Ida Olson, Bes Pollock and Lil Kay. Also survived by granddaughter Kimberley and many nieces and nephews. Dene was a long time member of Congregation Shaar Hashomayim and a life member of Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Sisterhood. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rachel Kaplan Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 685 Aylmer Avenue. Rabbi Tzvi Hochstadt will officiate. Interment will immediately follow at the Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 2618 Pillette Road. Shiva will be observed at the home of Earl Tenenbaum, 2353 Moy Avenue, with evening visitations only please on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30. During Shiva, services will be held at the community minion at the Peretz House, 1653 Ouellette Avenue on Tuesday at 5:20 p.m., Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. & 5:20 p.m., and Thursday 7:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers and as an expression of your sympathy, contributions may be made to The Congregation Shaar Hashomayim or to the charity of your choice.
