PURDY, Marilyn Ruth (nee Dufton) Passed away suddenly on January 23, 2005 at the young age of 67, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Sudbury. Reunited with her mother Grace (1978), father Thomas (1985), brother Thomas E. (Ted) (1957), sister Margaret (2003) and daughter Susan (1996). Sister to Audrey Eileen Simpson of Windsor, Elsie and Jerry Walker of Kingsville, Ila and Bernie Colombe of Amherstburg. Loving mother of Roderick and Helen Purdy of Belle River, Robert and Nancy Purdy of Manitoulin Island, and Ronald and Iris Purdy of Mississauga. Proud grandmother of Brian McMullin, Vicki McMullin, Robert Purdy, Michelle Purdy, Crystal Purdy, Stephanie Purdy, Jamie Purdy, Marc Purdy. Great grandmother to Prescott McMullin. Survived by many nieces, nephews and family. Ruth was a partner in Darem Hardware, Windsor, Ontario. Her passing leaves a void in our hearts that will never be filled. The one thing that we will always miss is her laughter and warming smile. Visiting at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 1969 Wyandotte St. E.
