PAYNE, Ella 84 years, passed away peacefully, Tuesday February 1, 2005 at Leamington Hospital with Cheryle and Warren at her side. Beloved wife of the late Gerry Payne (1989). Dear mother of Cheryle Dunford and husband Warren, Leamington; Billy Payne, Southwestern Regional Centre. Special loving Gramma to Todd Dunford and Nancy McDowall, Mark Dunford, Heather and Dave LeBrun, all of Windsor and special loved Great Gramma to Emma Page LeBrun (4 months), Gwyneth Adelle Dunford (7 days). Dear sister-in-law of Phyllis Pokornik and husband Henry, Blenheim. Dear aunt of Karen Van Zanden and family, Burlington; Ron and Jim Shilson and families, B.C. Ella was an active member of Peachland Rebekah Lodge for 60 years and leaves behind her many sisters and brothers who were her extended family. She was also a member of St. John's Anglican Church. Ella will be remembered for her sense of humor, love of life and kindness to all, and especially her devotion to her family and many friends. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street Leamington (326-2631) on Thursday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Ella's life, from the funeral home on Friday February 4, 2005 at 1 p.m. Rev. Liz Chaplain officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Peachland Rebekah Lodge # 45 service Thursday 4 p.m. Memorial donations made by cheque to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
