VIDICAN, Helen Born November 21, 1913 in Saskatchewan. Survived by her loving companion of 27 years, Hans (Bubbi) Koehnke. Predeceased by her loving husband Ted Vidican (1976). Devoted and compassionate mother of Priscilla and Bill Parsons, Dennis and Kim Kostescu and step-mother to Donald Vidican. Predeceased by her loving children, Peter Kostescu (1945) and Loretta Lebel (1969). Helen will be sadly missed by her devoted grandchildren, Lois, Wayne and Anna, Pam, Vince and Lynn, Dennis Jr. and Delilah, Sherri and Alex, Jason, Victoria, Kathleen, Lindsay, Teddy, Cindy, Matthew and Sherry. Helen was a doting great-grandma to Christina, Derek and Kelly, Jerry, Katie, Jessica, Christopher, Jake, Serena, Christian, Harlie and Wesley and great-great-grandma to Drew, Taylor and Sammy. Helen was a devoted sister to Mary, Annie, Virginia, Sophie and Marie and predeceased by her sisters Connie and Fannie and her only brother John. Helen was a loving aunt to so many nieces and nephews all of whom loved her tremendously. She was an extremely generous and giving woman who touched the lives of so many close friends, neighbours and acquaintances. Helen was an avid quilter who presented each of her family and many friends with a quilt keepsake. Her love for her family was deep and unconditional. Helen loved to cook and spent many years catering throughout the city as well as working for Dominion Stores Ltd. She was a member of the Seniors Group who meets at St. George's Romanian Orthodox Church. If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
