DOE, D. Evelyn (nee Johns) Passed away peacefully, at her home, on Monday January 31, 2005. Loving daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth Johns. Beloved wife of the late Franklin Benjamin (1989). Loving mother of Miss Patricia Doe of Windsor; Mrs. Beverley Murray of Kingsville, Ont; Rev. Franklin Doe and wife Margaret, of Canmore Alta; and the late Mary Elizabeth Ann (1947). Grandmother to 8 precious grandchildren, and great-grandmother to 8 special great-grandchildren. Sister to the late Emma Butcher, and Edwin, Daniel, Stephen and Alfred Johns. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives. Evelyn was a founding member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church, and a lifelong member of the A.C.W.,(Pollyanna Group). Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. , East on Wednesday February 2, 2005 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Relatives and friends are requested to meet on Thursday February 3, 2005, at St. Barnabas Anglican Church (corner of Tecumseh Rd., East and Chilver Road), for visitation from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 10:30 am. Rev. Lance Smith officiating. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery.Many thanks to the Bayshore and Para-Med staff for the tender loving care extended to Evelyn.
