VINK, "Ann" Anna Mae (nee Rivait) 70 years of Tilbury, Wallaceburg and Chatham, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 4, 2005 after a short but very courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife and best friend of Frank Vink. Treasured and loving mother of Gary and Bonnie Blair of Chatham; Debbie and Roger Caza of Belle River; Larry and Charlene Blair of Chatham; and Randy and Lois Blair of Wallaceburg. Loving grandmother of Nicole and Jason, Matt, Richard, Becky, Bob, Amy, Beth, Ryan, Christopher and Kyle. Born in Tilbury, she was the daughter of the late Hermidas "Mid" (1967) and Eva (Duquette) Rivait (2002). Loving sister of Lionel and Dolores Rivait of St. Clair Beach, the late Anita Mailloux (1972), Ron and Carolyn Rivait, Halifax, N.S. Ann is survived by 3 step-daughters; Linda Routley (Wallaceburg) and her children, David, Jonathan and Jennifer; Deb Burgess (Kelowna, B.C.) and her children Melanie, Karen, Beth, Mark and Tommy; and Brenda Chiovitti (Sarnia) and her children Dylan and Justin; and the late Larry Vink (1995). Organist for 15 years at St. Francis Parish in Tilbury, 24 years at Holy Family Parish in Wallaceburg and 1 year as choir director at St. Agnes Parish in Chatham. Ann shared her lifelong "love" of music with her family, friends and parish community. Employed at Union Gas for 17 years, Ann also volunteered for 2 1/2 years at the Cancer Society and for 12 years at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 52 Croydon, Chatham on Monday, February 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Anthony's Cemetery, Chatham.
