DESMARAIS, Genevieve (nee Bondy) 93 years peacefully on February 5, 2005 at Iler Lodge Nursing Home, Essex. Beloved wife of the late Alphonse (1988). Loving mother of Patrick & wife Joan, Jacques & wife Donna, Gerald & wife Shelley and the late Roger and the late Paula. Dear mother-in-law of Peggy. Loved grandmother of Jean-Paul, Daniel, Christopher, David, Jacqueline, Ronald and Ryan. Adored and dearly loved Gramma Gramma of 15 great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by the Mosceo and Deschamps families. Dear sister of the late Geraldine Lalande and the late Clayton Bondy. Genevieve was the Past President of Assumption High School Mother's Club, Past President of the Holy Name of Mary C.W.L., and a member of the F.S.N.A. A special thanks to the staff at Iler Lodge for their care and compassion. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 3 p.m.. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at 12:15 p.m. from Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave., (253-5225) to Holy Name of Mary Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A tree will be planted in memory of Genevieve Desmarais in the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Heritage Forest.
