ROOT, Mary Agnes (nee Sparks) Passed away February 4, 2005, at Huron Lodge Home for Seniors, at 81 years of age. Loving wife of Leslie E. Root, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Predeceased by her parents James & Margaret Sparks. Dearest mother of Betty Gilbert and John, Brian and wife Donna Root, Doug and wife Anne Root, and Cathie and husband Andy Jenner. Survived by her sister-in-law Barbara Sparks (late James Sparks - August 2004). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Chris, Marc, Stephanie, David, Julie, Paul, Josh, Becky, Aslynn, and Maggie, and by 6 great grand-children, with one more on the way. Dear friend of the late Bill Wing and wife Ilene. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Morris Sutton Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 68 Giles Blvd. East, on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Visiting to continue on Wed., February 9th, 2005, at Tecumseh United Church, 333 Lacasse Blvd., from 10 a.m. until hour of service at 11 a.m. Interment of cremated remains at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. In kindness, memorial tributes may be made to Huron Lodge Home for Seniors or to the Charity of Choice. A tree will be planted in memory of Mary Agnes Root in the Morris Sutton Heritage Forest.
