Lawrence CASSIE

CASSIE, Lawrence - Long time resident of Peterborough, died Thursday, February 10, 2005 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive at the age of 89. Lawrence was born at Coboconk, the son of the late James and Mabel Cassie. Lawrence (Cass) had a long career as a painter in which he took much pride. Lawrence was predeceased by his wife, Betty (Philips), who was his soul mate and life line for 47 wonderful years. Lawrence was also predeceased by his brothers George and Ivan. Cass will be sadly missed by his close friends, Bert and Lil Schlauch, who shared many special occasions with him and Betty. His passing is also mourned by his sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation starting at 1:00 pm.
