CLAPP HELEN (nee Atkinson) Promoted to Glory on February 14, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Predeceased by her husband Stubby Clapp Sr. (1971). Will be dearly missed by her children Delbert and Louise Clapp of Alberta, Ron and Sharon Clapp, Keith "Stub" and Candis Clapp, Dian and Walter Wollison all in the Windsor area. Also will be missed by her grandchildren: Amy Wollison, Tiger (Walter) Wollison, Sheri and Mike Lucier, Shannon Clapp, Shawn and Shannon Clapp, Marnie and Trevor Elliott, Janna Clapp, R.J. Clapp, Stubby and Chastity Clapp, Iris and Chris Barr, Jay Clapp, Kelly and Sharon Clapp, Terri and Phil Beauchamp and 15 great grandchildren. Also missed by her brothers and sisters: Ron and Kathy Atkinson, John and Joan Atkinson, Bernice (the other half of the snoop sisters) and her late husband Archie Clouthier, the late Glenn Atkinson, the late Bill and his late wife Mildred Atkinson, Del and his late wife Mary Johnson, Bev and Dorothy Major and his former wife the late Ilene Major. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Madeline Clapp "Aunt Pudge", family and friends for their support, prayers and help during Helen's illness. Helen was an Auxiliary member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #255, a member of Moose Lodge - OB'S Chapter 271, The Salvation Army Home League, The Red Cross VNS and the Exclusive Club for Women. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Wednesday from 7 to 9 , Thursday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Relatives and friends are requested to meet at the South Windsor Salvation Army Citadel 1201 Grand Marais West on Friday February 18, 2005 at 9:30 A.M. until time of funeral services at 10:30 A.M. Major Darrell Jackson officiating. Interment in Victoria Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the South Windsor Salvation Army Citadel 1201 Grand Marais W. or the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, as your expression of sympathy.
