WILLSON, Lloyd Kervan Mitchell Passed away with his loving family by his side on February 14, 2005 at the Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus at the age of 79. Born August 22, 1925 son of the late George and Berenice Willson. Loving husband for 61 years to Anne Willson (nee Rotar). Loving father to Tim Willson, Bob and Renee Willson, Glenn Willson and friend Cindy Bannister, Linda Peleshok and her husband Dale. Proud grandfather to Anthony Willson, Kim Willson, Mandy Lowhorn, Amy, Krista and Sarah Willson, Cassie and Drew Torok. Great-Grandpa to Kody Willson, Bree Newman and Conner Lowhorn. Dear brother to Maxine Dick; Carol and John Dutot; Joan and Jack Card. Pre-deceased by brothers Bob, Donald (Red) and Lance Willson, daughter-in-law Raye Willson and brother-in-law Bill Dick. Lloyd will be dearly missed by several nieces and nephews. Lloyd was the owner of Willsons Canadian Auto Supply in both Essex and Windsor for many years. He was also the administrator of the Willson Nursing Home in St. Thomas for 10 years. He retired as manager of the Regency Colonnade Apartments in 1989. Lloyd was Veteran of the Second World War serving with Royal Canadian Navy. He was also a past member of the Kinsmen Club of Essex, Masonic Lodge and the Kiwanis Club of Essex and St.Thomas. Visiting at the Stewart L. Kennedy Funeral Home 128 Talbot St. N. Essex on Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the funeral home on Thursday February 17, 2005 at 11 a.m. David Sandor officiating. Interment at Country Meadows Cemetery.
