NANTAU, Barbara Ann (nee Roque) Long time resident of Essex passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2005 with her children at her side. Born in Killarny, Ont. December 8, 1936. Beloved wife of the late Fred Nantau (2002). Dear mother of Greg and wife Debra of Windsor, & Kelly & husband John Tomberlain of Nashville. Proud Nana to Danielle, Lindsay, Nicole, Little John & Sarah. Dear sister to Martha Tyson, Priscilla Burke, Rosanna Hollingshead, Ching Roque, and Roland Roque. Predeceased by her sisters Dolores Reid and Donna Dube along with her brothers Albert and Donny Roque. Barbara will be dearly missed by all her friends and relatives. Barbara was retired from Sears after working in Essex at the Catalogue Counter for many years. She was also a member of the C.W.L. of Holy Name of Jesus Church. Visiting at the Stewart L Kennedy Funeral Home, 128 Talbot St. N., Essex, (776-7378), on Thursday from 7 - 9 PM, and Friday from 2 - 5 PM, and 7 - 9 PM. Family and friends are asked to gather at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 146 Talbot Street S, on Saturday, February 19, 2005 from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 am. Fr. Larry Brunet celebrant. Cremation to follow. C.W.L Prayers 3 p.m. Friday. Parish Prayers 7:30 p.m. Friday. In kindness, donations to the Holy Name of Jesus Church Building Fund or the Windsor Regional Cancer Center would be greatly appreciated by the family.
