Alice MAITRE

PAPINEAU, Alice (nee Maitre) 95 years, on Friday, February 18, 2005 at W.R.H.C. Prince Road Campus. Beloved husband of Alfred (2002). Dear mother of Laurence Papineau (Margaret), Corinne Pillon (Edmond) and predeceased by Roland (1963). Dear meme to Shirley, Gloria, Beverly, Diane, Christine, Dolores, Richard, Susan, Pauline. Predeceased by Raymond (1979). Also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, Alex and Eddie Jr. Dear sister of the late Theodore Maitre, late William Maitre,late Lawrence Maitre, late Stella Dame. Dear sister-in-law of Daisy Maitre, Pearl Michael, Mathilda Denomme, Yvonne Ladouceur and husband Maurice. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the Beneteau family, Julie, Paul and Mark. Visiting Sunday, Feb. 20 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Sunday at 4 p.m. Funeral procession leaves Monday, February 21, 2005 at 10 a.m. from Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame, Belle River, 728-1500 to St. Simon & St. Jude Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. Donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation. A tree will be planted in memory of Alice Papineau in the Melady Heritage Forest. A dedication will be held Sept. 25, 2005. All are welcome.
