VALENTINIS, Rosilda (nee Donadonibus) 85 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 18, 2005, at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Guido (1986). Dear mother of Vilma Talluto and Fulvio Valentinis and wife Vita. Loving nonna to Nicole, Amanda, Nadia, Giulia, Dr. Alissia Valentinis and husband Hassan Pirnia. Dear sister-in-law of Anita Marino and the late Giulio and aunt of Lorenzo and John Marino. Rosilda loved her family but above all she adored her five granddaughters. She had a passion for cooking and gardening and her cheerfulness, optimism and generosity will be missed by all who knew her. Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Joe Dattilo, Dr. John Greenaway and the special nurses on 7th Floor West at Hotel Dieu Hospital to the dedicated staff of C.C.A.C., Central Park Lodge and St. Elizabeth Health Care, especially Jeannie. Family and friends will be received at Janisse Bros. - Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue (253-5225) on Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, February 21, 2005, leaving the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. to St. Angela Merici Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to the C.C.A.C. or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Canada. A tree will be planted in memory of Rosilda Valentinis in the Janisse Bros. - Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
