Robert W. PRICE

PRICE, Robert W. 71 years, passed away after a long and courageous batttle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family on February 19, 2005 at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus. Beloved husband and best friend for 52 years to Madeline (nee Amelia). Loving father of Pat and husband Wayne Smith, Bob and wife Theresa and the late Jo-Anne Price (1974). Dear grandfather of Eddie, Jeff and Melissa Smith, Natalie, Robert and Emily Price. Dear brother to Maxine Price. Predeceased by parents Malcolm and Loretta Price. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob retired from Chrysler Canada in 1982 after 30 years of dedicated service. A heartfelt thanks to the Windsor Regional Cancer Clinic and the 4th floor Oncology staff for their care and compassion given to Bob. Also, many thanks to the Windsor/Essex C.C.A.C. and Hospice. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel , 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830). Fr. Chris Quinlan officiating. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Robert Price in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
