PHILLIPS, Rev. W. George B. (Faithful United Church Minister - 1969-1998) - Formerly of Catharine Street, Belleville, entered into rest at the E.J. McQuigge Lodge on Tuesday February 22, 2005 in his 77th year. Dear son of the late William and Janet Phillips. Beloved husband of the late Olive Ruth Phillips. Cherished father of; Paul J. Phillips and his wife Harriet of Hamilton and Jeff Wm. Phillips and his wife Janet of Toronto. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Colin, David, Joey, Brian, Paul Jr., Walter and Lori and great grandchildren; Riley, Hannah, Dawson, Keyanna and McKayla. Dear brother of; Joan and her husband the Rev. Dr. Marney Patterson and family and Gertrude and her husband Al Fettes and family. Will be missed by his sisters-in-law; Bernice Fox, Helen Bradshaw and by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at St. Matthew's United Church (25 Holloway Street, Belleville) on Friday February 25, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. (with visitation also one hour prior to service). Rev. Maurice McLeod officiating. Spring interment Melrose Cemetery.
