LEWICKI, Stefanie (nee Zolnierski) Born April 30, 1924, in Poland. Passed away February 25, 2005, at Windsor Regional Hospital, Western Campus, at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of Simon Lewicki. Loving mother of John Lewicki and wife Theresa, Stanley Lewicki and wife Helen, Lidia Kovacevic and husband Michael, and the late Halina Joyce (1994). Dear grandmother of Robert, Diane, Pamela, Derek, Lora, Tabitha. Dear great-grandmother of Jonathan, Lisa, Priscilla, Eric, Shane (2000), and Noah. Predeceased by two brothers. Dear aunt of Halina Mizinska. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Stefanie survived the Polish War, she was known for her generosity, especially the care packages she sent to the needy in Europe. Stefanie will always be remembered for thinking of others before herself. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. , on Tuesday March 1, 2005, from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday March 2, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Officiating Rev. Aaron Rock. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
