GIRSTUN, Genevieve Passed away with her family by her side on February 28, 2005 at 82 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Witold Girstun (January 24, 2005). Cherished mother of Irene and husband Gino Morga, and Anne Bernardon. Treasured Babcia of Jennifer Morga, Victoria Morga, and Nathaniel Bernardon. Dear sister of Sabina Hillsburg of Perth, Ontario and sister-in-law of Alina Bos; of Poland. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Franczisek and Wladyslawa Latwinski, brothers Thadeus and Edward, brother-in-law Ted Hillsburg. Member of the Polish Woman's Army Corps and served with distinction in England and Scotland from 1943 to 1946. She retired from Bendix of Canada in 1982. Genevieve was a loving caring grandmother whose life revolved around her grandchildren. She was also a fabulous cook and spent many hours working in her rose gardens. If you so desire, donations to the CNIB would be appreciated by the family. On Wednesday March 2, 2005, friends are invited to join the family for a funeral mass at Holy Trinity Church (1035 Ellis East) at 2 p.m. A private burial to follow.
