DRAGOMIR, Florence "Ruth" (nee Dancey) 85 years, peacefully on March 1, 2005. Late of Windsor. Beloved wife of the late Alex. Loving mother of Wayne and wife Lynn, of Peterborough; Pam MacDonald and Bob Tonkin, of Windsor; Randy and wife Collette, of Essex; Joy Demeray and the late Jerry, of Sarnia. Dear daughter of the late Wilmouth and Margaret Dancey (Patterson). Dear grandmother of Kim, Dan, Kristin, Kate, Tom, Cara, Amber and Danielle. Great-grandmother of Skylar, Joey and Jesse. Dear sister of Myrel Morrison, Roy Dancey and the late Blanche, Spencer, Hazel, and Verna and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Ruth was a dedicated volunteer of the Maycourt Club and was a member of the Church of the Ascension. Visiting Wednesday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830). Archdeacon Ron Matthewman officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Ruth Dragomir in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 25, 2005. All are welcome. Published in the Windsor Star on 3/2/2005.
