Malen Vance CAVANAGH

CAVANAGH, Malen Vance 89 years, of Iler Nursing Home, Essex, formerly of Tilbury, passed away peacefully at Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital, Windsor on Tuesday, March 1, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Cavanagh (2002). Loving father of Sandra Wiseman and her best friend and partner Carl Beecroft of Windsor. Dearest grandfather of Kim Wiseman, Stacey Wiseman and friend Dan Hillier. Great grandfather of Zachery and Thalia Hillier. Dear brother of the late Irene Terry and Edna Swinson. Dear brother-in-law of Adeline Heil of Essex, Norma Wright of Chatham, Edna and Lawrence Hillman of Leamington, Helen Bacon of Windsor, Ruth Girardin of Windsor, Donna Heil of Tilbury. Dear uncle of several nieces and nephews. Mr. Cavanagh served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II, and was a member of Br. 206 Royal Canadian Legion and Darrel S. Moffat Memorial United Church. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury Thursday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Legion service Thursday 7 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home Friday, March 4, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Catherine Collins-Barker officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Tilbury at a later date. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation appreciated.
