STRAMACCHIA, Filomena (Mastromatteo) 85 years on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at the Leamington Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Matteo (1982). Loving mother of Michael of Toronto, Domenic and his wife Connie of Windsor, Bruno and his wife Heather of Leamington, Ugo of Windsor, and Gino of Vancouver, B.C. Predeceased by a son Frank. Dear grandmother to Matteo Stramacchia of Leamington, Tia Stram-acchia Toomer and her fiance Joe Novak of Leamington, Christina Stramacchia of Windsor, Christopher Stram-acchia and his fiancee Emily Gereige of Windsor, Domenic and his wife Rachael Stramacchia of Amherstburg, and great grandmother to Brittany, Darren, and Ryan Toomer of Leamington, Michael Stramacchia of Chatham, and Bailey Stram-acchia of Leamington. Predeceased by brothers Frank, Mike, Nick, and Tony. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Filomena moved from Italy to Canada July 7, 1950 and together with her husband Matteo were cash crop and turkey farmers in Leamington, owned and operated the Bella Napoli Restaurant through the 60's and 70's, and were an active part in the founding of The Roma Club of Leamington. Visiting at the Hammond Funeral Home, 318 Erie St. S., Leamington (326-8423) on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 10:30 a.m., then to St. Michael's Church for a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Windsor.
