EMERY, Lionel Martin - Born in California and passed in away in Lakefield three days before his 90th birthday. Predeceased by the love of his life for 63 years, his wife Eileen. Comforted at his bedside by his children Lois and Vince, granddaughter Tracey and husband Todd, grandson Glenn and girlfriend Jennifer, and two wonderful great granddaughters Kristen and Courtney, and Patch who was his loving and loyal friend along with Clifford. Lionel worked for the Toronto Star newspaper for over 28 years when he retired. Our sincere thanks are extended to all Extendicare/ Lakefield staff who treated him with dignity and love. He will be sorely missed, as he was one of the BEST! He will be resting at the KAYE FUNERAL HOME "MEMORIAL CHAPEL", 539 George Street North, on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service in the Kaye Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reverend John Sloan officiating. Interment Bridgenorth Cemetery.
