SCOTT, John Maxwell - Peacefully at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 5, 2005 in his 98th year. Max Scott, beloved husband of the late Marion Ruth Scott (Kerr). Dear father of John (Pat) of Peterborough, Ron (Elaine) of Norwood, Dianne (Dave) Gardner of Amherstview. Dear brother of Florence (Ken) Irwin of Buckhorn. Predeceased by his son Greg and his brothers, Raymond and Roy and his sister Angeline. Fondly remembered by his ten grandchildren Jeff (Emily), Jennifer, Julie, Kerstin (Ed) Walsh, Andrew (Leslie), Lindsay (Dave) Genge, Bonny (Wayne) Niven, Caitlin (Scott) Connors, Adrian, Kristie and his six great-grandchildren, Amanda, John, Michelle, Claire, Abby and Emiko. Max will be remembered in the community for his service as a Municipal Politician, County Warden, Lions Club Charter Member and the final remaining member of the Elgin Ball Team, which is commemorated in the Peterborough Sports Hall of Fame.
