JACQUES, Robert "Bob" 82 years, passed away suddenly on March 7, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline (1993). Loving companion of Betty Brunelle. Loving father of Dan, Bob, Marielle and husband Bud, Gerald and wife Mona and Richard. Dear grandfather to Genevieve, Gabrielle, Jamie, Shelley, Alyssa and Richard and great-grandfather to Summer. Dear brother to Bernard and wife May, Guy and wife Theresa, Denise and husband Paul, Yolande and husband the late Jean. Will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and the Burnelle family. Bob served his country, having fought in the Battle of Normandy on D-Day and was also a member of the R.C.L. Br# 261, a member of Bishop John T. Kidd Council (Riverside), Colour Guard of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Rt. Rev. Wilfred J. Langlois Assembly 1789, a member of the Riverside Sportsmen Club, a devoted member of St. Anne Church, Tecumseh and was involved in many charitable events throughout his life. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 3:30 p.m. A Legion Service will be held under the auspices of the R.C.L. Br. #261 and the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee at 7:00 p.m. 3rd & 4th Degree K of C. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. from the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Robert Couture officiating. Cremation will follow and the interment of cremated remains will take place at St. Anne Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Bob Jacques in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
