LEFAVE, Harvey Alfred Passed away peacefully on March 9, 2005 at the age of 78 with his family by his side, at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Beloved husband of 55 years to Mary (nee Niskasari). Dear father of Kathy, Paul and wife Robin, Peter and wife Eleanor, Jon and wife Laurie. Cherished "Papa" of Mike, Maija, J.P., Steven, John, Simon, Kristen, Jonathan, Jacob and Nathan. Survived by sisters Mary Lindsey (Sarnia) and Margaret MacPherson (Windsor) and sister-in-laws Margaret Jeffrey (Windsor), Jean Niskasari and Louise Niskasari (both of B.C.). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father Alfred (1947) and mother Florence (1997) and sisters Patricia McKeown and Lois MacNeill. Also predeceased by brother-in-laws Richard Lindsey, Len McKeown, Ken MacNeill, Bill MacPherson, Calvin Niskasari, Arnold Niskasari and Heimo Niskasari. Harvey had worked for years as an insurance adjuster and co-founded Windsor Adjusting Company Ltd. He had also worked many years for Jordan Wines in Windsor and Toronto. He was a teacher of the Young Men's Bible Class as well as a steward at St. Paul's United Church, Past President of Windsor East Little League, member and Past President of the Windsor Curling Club, Past Chairman of football and past member of A.K.O. Fraternity, member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #594, and a member of Golden K Kiwanis. At Harvey's request, cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Harvey which will be held at St. Paul's United Church, 973 Pillette Road, Windsor N8Y 3B7 on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 2:00 p.m., followed immediately by a celebration of his life. As per his wishes, in lieu of flowers, in kindness donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church. Arrangements entrusted to the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 252-5711.
