COLUSSI, DESIDERIO Peacefully on March 12, 2005 at the age of 80 years, at the Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus. Cherished and loving Husband of Anna Maria (Nee Zangirolami) for 51 years. Loved Father of Dario & wife Lori and Linda & husband Tony Di Pasquale. Cherished Nonno of Terra, Katrina, and Vincent Colussi; Peter, Mark, and Lara Di Pasquale. Beloved brother of Silvio & wife Rena, Mario & wife Norma of Windsor, Elio & wife Mirella, Marianna De Rossi, and Lina Colussi, all of Italy. Predeceased by brother Ovidio & wife Vincenza, and sisters Delia Polo and Ines Kaneklin. Dear Zio to many nieces & nephews and survived by extended family in Italy. Desiderio retired from Daimler Chrysler, was a member of CAW Local #444, Fogolar Furlan Club and of the Assocazione Veneti. Desiderio will be forever remembered for his love of gardening and nature. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 TECUMSEH ROAD EAST, ON MONDAY FROM 2-5 & 7-9pm. Prayers Monday at 7:30pm . Funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 15, 2005 at 8:45 am from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for funeral mass at 9:30am. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Italian Handicapable Association .
