Joseph FAZEKAS

FAZEKAS, Joseph Suddenly on March 11, 2005, at 76 years of age, after a long and courageous battle with diabetes. Born March 18, 1928, in Stockholm, Saskatchewan. Loving and devoted husband of 54 years to Dorothy. Dear son of the late Blaise and Mary Fazekas. Cherished father of Reg and wife Lindy, Joe and wife Marilyn, Beth and husband Neil Spacinsky, Bill and wife Nancy. Dear Papie of Victoria, Jamie, Jeff, Brad, Larissa, Sadie, and Ethan. Dear brother of Jim and wife Stella Fazekas, and the late Liz, Mary, Rose, Andy survived by his wife Liz. Dear brother-in-law of Dick and Jean, Alfred and Adele, and the late Walter. Joseph was a member of the Knights of Columbus South Windsor Council and was retired from Chrysler Corporation with over 44.3 years of service. If you so desire, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Monday 3-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. K of C prayers Monday evening at 7:30 pm. followed by parish prayers at 8:00 pm. Funeral Tuesday 1:30 p.m. from Families First Funeral Home (969-5841), 2670 Dougall Ave., to Christ the King Church for Mass at 2 p.m. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
