Ethel Marion Amabel STABLER

HOPCROFT, Ethel Marion Amabel (nee Stabler) - After a long illness on Friday, March 11, 2005 at St. Joseph's At Fleming. Beloved wife of James "Jim" Hopcroft for over 57 years. Ethel was predeceased by her parents Nathan and Sarah Stabler. Dear sister of Gert Hatton of Peterborough; predeceased by her sisters Emma Crary, Mary Carter, Iola Cullen, Hilda Moffatt, Whipple Lancaster, and Beatrice Jones. Sister-in-law of Karen Renwick and Beverley Bailey and the late Dorthy Nisbett. Aunt Ethel is lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Ethel will be missed by her dog Lucky. She was employed at C.G.E. for over 42 years as a supervisor in the payroll dept.. A private family graveside service will take place at Highland Park Cemetery.
