BREAULT, Lucille (Sister Adele Marguerite, S.N.J.M.) Passed away peacefully at Holy Names Residence, Windsor, Ontario on March 15, 2005 at the age of 93 years and 10 months. She had been a professed Religious for 66 years. Sister Adele was born in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Edward Breault and Adele LaPointe. She is survived by one sister, Margaret Hagg of Chicago, one brother, Edward of Missouri and several nieces. She is predeceased by her brother George. Sister Adele taught elementary school for many years in Chicago, Detroit and St. Clair Shores. After retiring from teaching, she ministered to the elderly among the Belgian Community in the Detroit area for five years. She continued this type of ministry when she moved to Ontario serving mainly in River Canard and at Holy Names Residence in Windsor. Sister Adele also lived one year in the Novitiate House of the Sisters of the Holy Names on McEwan Avenue where she was a source of inspiration to the young women there. As assistant to the Superior of St. Mary's Academy, Sister Adele assisted with the move of our Sisters from St. Mary's to Holy Names Residence on Peter Street in 1977. At Peter Street, Sister continued serving the Community in many capacities until illness confined her to the infirmary. Sister Adele once said that she wished her legacy to be that she lived her commitment to poverty, chastity and obedience to the best of her ability. Resting at Holy Name Residence, 3140 Peter Street, Windsor, Ontario. Visitation on Thursday, March 17, 2005 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with prayers at 7 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2005 followed by Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of the Sister Adele Marguerite may be made to Sisters of the Holy Names for their ministries.
