John Kevin LINDSAY

LINDSAY, John Kevin "Irish" Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 17, 2005 at 84 years of age, born in County Down Ireland on November 12, 1920. Beloved husband of Jene (nee Chance). Loving father of Martha Andrews and husband Doug Stroud, Bruce and wife Debbie Lindsay, Bridget and her late husband Paul Krawchuk, Sally and husband Andrew Leight. Cherished grandpa of Catherine, Sarah, Bethany, Rachel, and Brian and great-grandpa of Angel and Aadn. Dear brother of James Lindsay and the late Annie, Lil, Kay, Jerry and Pat. Dear friend of Ella May and her late husband Howard Bunt and their children Kevin and wife Lidia and Cathie Bunt. Many nieces and nephews in Canada and the States also survive. Kevin was retired from Allstate Insurance as an Insurance Adjuster. He was a long-time volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society and was very proud to have been an usher at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. If you so desire, donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Society or Respiratory Rehabilitation Program at Windsor Regional Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Saturday 7-9 p.m., Sunday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday 7:30 p.m. at Families First Funeral Home (969-5841) 2670 Dougall Ave. On Monday friends are invited to join the family at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (4401 Mt. Royal Drive) after 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
