GOUIN, Norman Joseph 74 Yrs., Wed., March 23, 2005, peacefully with his family by his side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. Formerly of Emeryville. Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Robillard, 1991). Dear father of Georgette Beausoleil and Robert, Gary and Charlene, Anita Houchen and David, Roger and Lori, Diane Mallat and Louis. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear son of the late Raymond Gouin and Bertha Denomme. Dear brother of Laurentia Caza and Norm, Helen Perry and the late Bill, Edna Boudreau and Victor, Ray and Jannine, Louis and Linda. Predeceased by John and Bella, Flora Reynolds and Myron. Norm retired from Chrysler of Canada with over 30 yrs. of service, was an avid golfer, a member of K of C Council #1467 St. Thomas and a former member of K of C Council #2775, Belle River. He was also a longtime parishioner of ST. William's Church. Visiting Sat. from 7 to 9 p.m., Sun. 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral procession leaves Mon., March 28, 2005 at 1 p.m. from Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame St., Belle River. 728-1500 to St. William's Church, Emeryville for Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. Parish Prayers Sun., at 3 p.m. Interment St. William's Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Lung Association. A tree will be planted in memory of Norman Gouin in the Melady Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held Sept. 25, 2005. All are welcome.
