LAPPAN, Clifford "Pepper" Peacefully, on March 26, 2005, at the age of 83 years. Loving husband and best friend of 62 years to Lucy (Plante). Dear father of Larry and wife Loretta, Clarence (Car) and wife Mary, Cathy and husband Brendan Coughlan. Sadly missed by grandchildren Jeffery and wife Catherine Lappan, Jim Lappan; Rebecca and Joseph Coughlan. Survived by brothers and sisters Geraldine Rock and the late "Del", Germaine Miller, Donald Lappan and wife Denise, William Lappan and wife Lil, Blanche MacDonnell and husband Mike, Rita Kurek and husband Bernard, Noella Hayes and the late Jack, brother-in-law of Rose Lappan and Barbara Lappan. Brother of the late Helen and Paul Dufault; Alvin (Buster) and Millie Lappan; Norman (Babe) and Teenie Lappan; Peter and Clarence Lappan; Eleanor and Charlie Desjardins, Maurice Lappan; Doris and Omer Jacques. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Retired after 40 years of service from Chrysler Canada. Pepper was a veteran of WWII, life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #261 and member of the Riverside Sportsmen Club. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Royal Canadian Legion Branch #261 memorial service at 7 p.m. and parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held from The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecum-seh (735-2830), on Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at 10 a.m. to St. Anne Church, Tecumseh, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Robert Couture will be the celebrant. Interment St. Anne Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Clifford Lappan in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
