HUTCHINSON, James " Jim" - After a brave and courageous fight with cancer, on Friday March 25, 2005, at P.R.H.C. Palliative Care, Rogers St., Peterborough. Jim in his 76th year leaves behind hid beloved wife Ursula "Mic" (MacDonald) of 53 years. Jim started his career with Robert Simpson in Montreal in 1944 and moved to Peterborough in 1970 where he continued to work for Sears Canada until 1984 when he retired due to ill health. Jim was best known as the " Sheriff " to all those on Cedarbank Rd.. Jim leaves behind sisters Jessie of Laval, Quebec, Dorothy of Victoria BC, and Ray of Peterborough, along with brothers-in-law Angus MacDonald of Niagara Falls, Bob and Jean MacDonald of Kamloops, BC and Claude and Margie MacDonald of Mission, BC, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday March 30, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at the Highland Park Visitation/Reception Centre, 2510 Bensfort Rd. at River Rd. South, Peterborough, with visitation 1 hour prior. Father Ken Rae officiating.
