Donald Lorne William ARMSTRONG

ARMSTRONG, Donald Lorne William. Born December 21, 1926, passed away suddenly in France on March 29, 2005, at age 78. Beloved husband of Mabel Armstrong. Predeceased by son George Donald Henry Armstrong and grandson Jacob Brandon Rice. Survived by seven children Douglas & Betty Armstrong, Nancy & Darrell Sparks of Iowa, Mary Armstrong & good friend Gino Conte, Bob & Debbie Armstrong, Marlene & Mike Charrette, Ruth & David Blandford and Carol Rice. Also survived by 9 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 4 great grandchildren. Donald was a member of Walkerville Baptist Church. He studied Bible College in London (1946), graduated in 1953 with his Teacher's Certificate, graduated in 1955 with his Physical & Health Education Teacher's Certificate, and taught elementary level for 10 years. He also owned & operated Armstrong Aluminum Windows, ran for Alderman in Windsor 1964-65, was an employee of Chrysler Canada, diligently studied the stock market and provided excellent financial advice and was an avid traveler around the world.
