GIRTY, Gerald Lawrence of R.R.#3 Blenheim, on the Gore Road, passed away suddenly, on Sunday, April 3, 2005, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Born in Kingsville 84 years ago, only son of the late George Girty and Edith Shaw. Dearest husband of the former Helen Robertson. Dear father of sons Lynn and wife Judith of Harwick Township, Peter and wife Betty of London. Cherished grandfather of Gregory and wife Michelle, Sarah, Sean, and Kristen. Great grandfather of Desiree and Dominique. Resting at the J.L. Ford Funeral Home in Blenheim for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ed Nicol of Fourth Line United Church officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials to the Diabetes Assoication or Fourth Line United Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Published in the Windsor Star on 4/4/2005.
