BURKE, Harold Maxwell January 5, 1944 April 4, 2005. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, great Father and Papa, peacefully at home. Beloved Husband of Sandy (nee Staley) for 41 wonderful years. Loving father of Don and wife Michelle, Michelle and companion Rob Misener and Cathy and companion Craig Crosby. Devoted Papa of Devin, Janna and Jake Burke, Summer and Jamie Brown and Kaylee Boulton and Max Crosby. Loving Brother of Orvil and wife Laurie Burke, Edna Rutledge and Carol and husband Leon James and the late Marie Golden and Larry Burke. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Norma Burke. Dear brother-in-law of Mary and husband Bill Elliott. Best friend of Don and wife Janet Beedle, Carol and Dick Meunier, Bill and Kathy Sutton and many other friends. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Harold was the founder and owner of Tri-County Jewellers Ltd. He was President of the St. Andrews Bowling League, Past President of the LaSalle CB Pals, and a member of the LaSalle Merchants Bowling League. He loved to fish, bowl, dart and relax at Sturgeon Woods Trailer Park. As an expression of your sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart Wellness Program or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
