ROCK, Leonard Joseph 82 years. April 5, 2005. Beloved husband of Mary. Dearest father of Laura M. Pickle and her husband James; Michael and his wife Linda; Diane Turmel and her husband Gerald; and Richard and his wife Gloria. Dear stepfather of Helen Giles and her husband Conrad; Joyce Stoyshin and her husband Nick; and Gary Kozak and his wife Kathy. Seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Dear brother of Norval and his wife Beverly. Predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. Leonard served overseas in WWII with the Essex Scottish and was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #143. Visitation will be held from 7-9pm Wednesday and 2-5 and 7-9pm Thursday. A Windsor Veteran's Memorial Committee Service will be held Thursday at 7:30pm. The funeral service will be held Friday, April 8 at 10am from Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave., (253-5225). Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Leonard Rock in the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
