Most cherished husband of Hazel (his very own tiny dancer) for 29 years. Loving father of Jerri and husband Vince, Terri, Christine, Connie, Christopher and Heather. Caring grandfather of Matthew, Jeremy, Kyle, Rayna, Aron, Luke, Zachary and Emily. Predeceased by father Jack, mother Kathleen, step-mother Blanche and daughter Cathy (1954). Glen loved his career as an Iron Worker which took him to many locations in North America. He retired out of Iron Workers' Local #25 in Michigan. Glen was proud to be a 32nd degree Mason with affiliations to Moore Sovereign Consistory in Hamilton, Speed Lodge in Guelph, Mocha Shriners in London, and Moramos Shrine Club in Windsor, Windsor Lodge of Perfection and Windsor Chapter of Rose Croix. He was an ordinary member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 143 and belonged to the Neighborhood Bowling League at Playdium Lanes. In retirement, he and Hazel spent their summers on the French river near Alban, Ont. enjoying nature, entertaining family and friends and making beautiful memories. Glen had too many talents and hobbies to list. Among his favorites were writing poetry, piloting his own plane, motorcycling, playing euchre, cribbage and pool, solving crossword puzzles and cryptoquotes and listening to Jazz. It was Glens wish that there be no public viewing or funeral services held. Private good-byes were shared by Hazel, Connie and Heather on St. Patrick's Day. Cremation has taken place. Sincere thanks to Families First Funeral Home for their excellent handling of our affairs. If you so desire memorial donations in Glen's name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Shriners Hospital for Children. Published in the Windsor Star on 4/16/2005.
