PHILLIPS, Robert Charles A late resident of Maidstone, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2005, at the Leamington District Memorial Hospital. Predeceased by his cherished wife and best friend of 53 years Gloria A. Rounding (Dec 2, 2000). Dear father and soulmate to daughters Bonnie and John D. Smith, Krystal and Bryan Sellan, all of Maidstone. Devoted brother of Jack Phillips and wife Doris, Joe Phillips and wife Charlotte, Doreen and the late Leonard Phillips, Barbara and the late Tom Phillips. Predeceased by his parents Vera and Percy Phillips, and Special Uncle Jim. Survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and chosen grandchildren Abdul, Wafaa, Said, and Sarah Zaarour. Robert was a proud lifetime farmer in the Maidstone area. Visiting at the Stewart L. Kennedy Funeral Home, 128 Talbot St. N. Essex (776-7378), on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Robert's life will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at 1 oclock. Reverend Donald Hansford officiating assisted by Majors Smith and Flo Rowsell. Inter-ment to follow at Country Meadows Cemetery, Essex.
