John S. BALGA

BALGA, John S. 77 years, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday April 19, 2005 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus. Loving husband of Margaret for 55 years. Beloved father of John Balga and wife Barbara, Essex; and Rose Boucher and husband Tom, Windsor. Cherished grandfather of Shari Balga, Sean Balga and wife Michelle, and Thomas Boucher Jr. Dear brother of Mike Balga and wife Mary, Margaret Kaschak and husband Mike, Joseph Balga and wife Linda. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Thank you to Dr. Liebman and all the support staff in ICU and the caring angels on the 7th Floor of Windsor Regional Hospital. Special thanks to Fr. Mike Parent, Fr. Larry Brunet, Fr. Angyel, and all the prayerful thoughts and intentions we received. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Avenue East, Essex (776-4233) on Thursday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday April 22, 2005 at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 146 Talbot St. S., Essex, from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass to celebrate John's life at 10 a.m.. Fr. Larry Brunet officiating. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Parish Prayers Thursday 7 p.m. A tree will be planted in memory of John S. Balga in the Hillman Marsh Conservation Area.
