GREAVES, Ivan L. 89 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 21, 2005 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus. Beloved husband of Gladys (nee MacKenzie) for 66 years. Loving father of Joan Young and husband Elmer, Essex; Judy Cribley and husband Terry, Essex and the late Jim (1959). Dearest grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Ivan was predeceased by his brothers Arthur, Russell and Oliver and his sisters, Edna Sherman and Fleda Frith. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Ave. E., Essex (776-4233) on Friday 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to celebrate Ivan's life will be held from the funeral home on Saturday April 23, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery, Oldcastle Royal Canadian Legion Branch #201 service Friday 7:00 pm. Ivan lost his son Jim at the age of 16 due to leukemia, therefore the family would appreciate donations made to the Leukemia Research Fund. Friends may send condolences at www.reidfuneralhome.ca.
