GROWDEN, Robert (Bob) (Retired Quaker Oats of Canada) - Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care on Friday, April 22, 2005 in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Norma Jean for 49 years. Loving father of Rick and Maxine Growden, Nancy and Peter Duffus, Pam Growden and Mark Tucker and Penny and Chris Logel. Dear Poppy of Brooke and Andrew Haugh, Dan and fiancee Tara Ayotte; and Leah-Ann and Kristina Logel. Dear brother of Jim of London, Bet and Bill Laidley of Lindsay and brother-in-law of Glenda Growden of Cambridge. Pre-deceased by his parents Fred and Elizabeth Growden and brother Samuel (Bud) Growden (January 2005). Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. A service of celebration and thanksgiving for Bob will be held at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 1421 Lansdowne Street West on Monday, April 25, 2005 at 1 p.m. Reverend Frank Patrick officiating.
