NOLAN, Frederick Joseph Valtine - (World War II Veteran) - Peacefully with family at his side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (Hospital Drive Site) on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 in his 85th year. Fred was born in Peterborough on September 4, 1920. Fred was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 55 years. He retired from General Electric in 1979. Beloved husband of Gladys Nolan (nee Patterson) for 58 years. Sadly missed by his sons and daughters. Also missed by 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at NISBETT FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, (600 Monaghan Rd S) on Sunday, April 24, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the NISBETT FUNERAL CHAPEL on Monday, April 25, 2005 at 1 p.m. Reverend Nico Mulder officiating.
