SHEARER, Gavin Arthur - Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive site on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Helen May Shearer (Tarkington). Dear father of Bruce (Janice), Sandra (Dave), Bill (Laura), Debra (Orville), Carol (Jerry), Kate (Larry), Steve (Melinda), Gavin (Laurie). Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Jeff, Jo-Anne, Trisha, Lindy, Nicky, Jessy, Phillip, William, Mike, David, Shawn, Megan and Bud. Predeceased by grandson Phillip. Loving great grandfather of Lacey, Jordan, Emily, Abby, Brady, Delaney, Cameron, Ella and Brooklyn. Dear brother of Ellen Linkert (Roy), Norma Ayotte (Paul), Joan Stenback, and John Shearer (Nancy). Predeceased by sisters Ruth Nelson, Olive McNeven and Karen Shearer. Son of the late Gavin Shearer and Ellen Shearer (Borland). Friends are invited to call at KEENE UNITED CHURCH, KEENE, ONTARIO on Friday, April 22nd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by service at 1 p.m. Reverend Bain Milroy officiating.
