GIGNAC, Clement "Pete" With his family at his side it is with peace they announce his passing at Windsor Regional Hospital Western Campus on April 24, 2005 at the age of 80. Husband of June for 55 years. Predeceased by his parents Felix & Nelida. Cherished father of Wendy and husband Robert Pitter Gignac (Amherstburg), the late Bernard (1977). Peter & wife Becky (Windsor), Jerome (Amherstburg) Mark & Carol Poisson (Windsor), Charlene and husband Robert Spotter Gaunt (Amherstburg), Juner Gignac (Amherstburg), Joan and husband Randy Friars (Windsor), Loree Willar (Amherstburg), Suzanne and husband Keith Gagnon (Amherstburg). Dearest grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Pete was predeceased by his brothers Abner & Bernard and his sisters Monica Chauvin and Yvonne Chauvin. Survived by several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law. Pete was retired from (Daimler) Chrysler Canada in 1980 and was a member of CAW local 444, K of C St. Clements Council # 2844. K of C prayers Tuesday 7:15 p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday 7:30 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at St. John the Baptist Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. (PLEASE NOTE: NO PROCESSION FROM THE FUNERAL HOME. Family & friends are requested to meet at the church from 10:15 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.) Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations to the St. John the Baptist Parish Improvement Fund would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Pete Gignac in the Sutton Heritage Forest.
